As the second of six novels, Phoenix is the name of a small boy who suddenly finds himself outside of his world, lost in space, and unable to remember who he is. Little by little, his memory returns, and once he has an encounter with a strange being named Elohx, he is sent back to his own world. Soon he discovers that he has gone back in time to when his world was flat.

War is raging, and time is running out- the world is about to be consumed by a massive flood. He meets IvyLynn, and they must learn to work together before it's too late.
